The 24th International Conference on Environmental Indicators will take place at Hotel Beatriz, Toledo, Spain. It is our privilege to invite scientists, students, free listners and public opinion leaders to participate at this oncoming event and reveal their advanced studies for a comprehensive and fruitful four days discussion.

You are invited to join us at the 24th International Conference on Environmental Indicators that will take place at Hotel Beatriz in Toledo, Spain on the 19-22nd of September 2022. The conference will explore the scientific bases and uses of indicators (descriptive, efficiency and assessment parameters) under the biological, chemical, physical aspects as well socio-economic facets. This year’s theme is “Colonization patterns: from landscapes to pandemics” although other subjects related to environmental indicators are also welcome (see topics). We bring together top scientists from all over the world to tackle those past, present and future environmental challenges. Our motto describes the paramount aims of our group: “An indicator is like a lighthouse, if we do not pay attention, we’ll end up crashing on the cliffs”.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

The ICEI.2022 subject is “Colonization patterns: from landscapes to pandemics” which is relevant since the 18th century industrial revolution. Since then, different chemicals reached our environment in large quantities, changing considerably environmental quality as revealed by many geographical and epidemiological studies. Early indication of major environmental changes is highly important to prevent many global catastrophe.

CON. AGENDA

The conference will explore the scientific base of indicators (e.g. biological, chemical, physical, economic, geographic effects) on ecology and human populations by environmental exposures to pollution.

ISEI works toward an economical sustainable conference therefore students, developing countries, retired scientist get a nice discount (see General Information). Those that pay in advance (until 7th of May, 2022) are entitled for a 5% discount from the original registration fee.

Toledo is an ancient city set on a hill above the plains of Castilla-La Mancha in central Spain. The capital of the region, it’s known for the medieval Arab, Jewish and Christian monuments in its walled old city. It was also the former home of Mannerist painter El Greco.
